A 1912 printing of Sweetheatrs, A Book of Love Poems, compiled and edited by George N. Madison. It was published by The Reilly & Britton Company of Chicago. All 63 pages are intact with no markings or damages. A long narrow book made with heavy gauge paper pages with a color embossed design on each page. The cover is soft green leather and the pages are tied together with the cover by a green leather strip. The cover has the title embossed in gold gilt and has a long stemmed rose embossed in the leather. There is slight discoloration on the edges of the leather cover from handling and usage. There are 66 authors listed in the index. including Robert Browning, Robert Burns, Charles Dickens, Eugene Field, Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, William Shakespeare, Alfred Lord Tennyson and many more. It is in very good condition with the only wear being small tears to the green satin like paper that is glued to the insides of the leather covers.
