This is a nice group of rarely seen auger bits in 5 different sizes 4,7,8,10,16/16ths and a few extras, one extra 10/16 has a slightly bent shank, the extra 8/16 is good. Basically similar to the Russell Jennings type sprial, with double spurs (over and under the cutting edge) and double cutting edges, with a more course type lead screw thread than a R. Jennings type. Each is marked "SUPERIOR CAST STEEL" on the shank, none have a size stamped on them like more modern makers did. Some minor spur wear, otherwise, sharp, ready to use, no rust, in nice shape.
