This fine Stickley armchair in quarter-sawn oak carries the metal plate hallmark of L&JG STICKLEY, dating the piece to sometime after 1916. Original springs and no known restorations or repairs. The brown leather cushion appears to be roughly 5-10 years old or more and is in good condition. It measures 38.5" high and 27" wide. Seating area measures 19.5" by 19" and the seat height is 18.5". It features exposed tenons on the arms which are supported by corbels, and seven splats on the seatback. It has a fine old patina and doesn't appear to have been refinished. Chair is structurally sound and comfortable. This item resides in our client's home in Brooklyn and may be seen in person by appointment. Thanks for visiting.
