Sterling silver lidded oblong box, embossed top. The maker is George Unite, Birmingham 1892. The lid design is flowers with acanthus leaves, and the sides are acanthus leaf scrolls. Crimped edges. Box measures 2 cm high, 9.6 cm wide and 3 cm deep (3/4 inch by 3.3/4 inches by 1.1/8 inches). Excellent condition. Initials are faintly engraved on the presentation panel - possibly E.A.R.J. Silver weight is approx. 42 grams.
