Stereo View Card - Kansas Cornfields

Unavailable
We recently acquired a large collection of stereoview cards from an elderly gentleman who had them stored away for many years. They are in unbelievably wonderful condition! These stereoview pictures are to be used in conjunction with a stereoscope viewer. They are real photographs mounted on durable cards. Most of these cards are done in sepia tones. The trademark Underwood & Underwood Sun Sculpture is highly desirable. We will be listing dozens of these cards over the next few weeks so be sure to continue checking our listings. These items would be a valuable addition to any collection. This stereoview card illustrates the great cornfields of Osage Valley in eastern Kansas, Franklin County. You can see a woman in the foreground, lower left corner, and in the far background you can see part of a house. You can tell how rich the soil was by the growth of this corn with almost tropical luxuriance of leafage. The back of this card contains much more interesting information. There is some cardboard stuck to the top of the picture on the right. There is also a slight bend at the upper right corner. There is a sliver of discoloration along the one edge on the backside of card.
