Steely Look At False Faces Pictures 1958 This article with pictures appeared May 12, 1958 It is a nice black and white, two page, picture and is titled A steely Look in False Faces.These are pictures of helmets worn my knights who fought in armor. Fewer than 20 exist in the world. These were recently taken from their cases at New Yorks Metropolitan Museau so Photographer Gladys Collins could shoot these close ups One was probably made in 1510 for Frederick of Saxon. The other about 1525 for an unknown German knight. Great Photography. In mint condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This original magazine tear sheet measures 10 inches wide by 14 inches tall.
