Barrel shaped tankard is staved and hooped, the handle was cut in one piece with the stave. At the top the cover has decorative carving and is set and pegged. An extension of the cover allowed the cover to be lifted by the pressure of the thumb. The cover has the following carved into the underside "NAZDAR" ...
