Stanley Jointer Plane No. 7C Type 10

This is a very nice used corrugated sole jointer plane marked "STANLEY NEW BRITAIN CONN. U.S.A." on the cutter, and "STANLEY" on the lateral lever, and  has the "BAILEY" mark on the bed in front of the knob, and "NO. 7" behind the tote, and "PAT'D MAR-25-02" in front of the tote also. Overall the plane is in very good working condition with about 70% of it's original black Japanning intact. The front knob and rear tote are both rosewood, both solid in very good shape, no cracks, some small or minor dings or dents, no chips, very nice appearance, only minor wear. The cutter is sharp and about 75% intact with plenty of stock for future sharpening on the cutter. The cap cover I very clean, no damage. The bare metal has a slightly darkened patina, no pitting on the bed casting, smooth and nice with little wear or scratches. We do note not far behind the cutter opening on the corrugated sole, a few spots that appear to have been from the original casting that didn't clean up when flat grinding took place.  Or in other works it doesn't look like pitting from rust. Overall a very nice, clean jointer plane from the early 1900's era!
