Vegetable ivory is the corozo nut of a South American palm tree. A stanhope is a very small glass rod about 1/4' longthat one can look through and see various magnified black &white scenes. These were in some needlework tools from 1860- 1915. This one has 6 scenes of Ricordo, D,Oropa. This item has a tape measure of 100 centimeters. Good condition. Buyer pays S.+ H.
