Stick 'n ball pieces were designed of spindle work with round balls connected to one another by straight or twisted dowels. They are often put together to form intricate decorative designs. Because of the delicate nature of the construction, only a limited number of pieces survived through the years. ~From the midwest we obtained this fine stick 'n ball stand. A slanted shelf provides magazine storage above the four regular shelves. Use this piece in a bathroom or as a bedside table. It will be a thing of beauty for many, many years.
