Spring Mills Watch The Butter Fly Ad 1949 this is a November 1949 advertisement. It is a nice color ad from Spring Mills of New York. In this ad a young lady has just emerged from the food shop, both arms filled with a big bag of groceries, and how embarrassing, her underwear has slipped down around her ankles. Picture is by H Turner. Ad tells how Spring Mills have developed a fabrics used all over the world for use ad adhesive tape. This cloth known as Sticker, is now available to the false bottom and filibust business. Dont depend on buttons and bows, but switch to Sticker and let the Springmaid label protect you from the consequences of embarrassing accidents such as this picture. In excellent condition.
