Color print from paintings commissioned for the 1969 centennial celebration of the completion of the Transcontinental Railroad. 18 x 24". Printed in margin: Southern Pacific's Extra 4324 West races over the main line past towering Picacho Peak on a bright Southern Arizona morning behind a famous 4-8-2 "Mountain" type locomotive built in SP's own Sacramento Shops in the 1920s. Very good.
