Soaring Steeple Picture 1961. This 2 page picture appeared in a magazine December 16, 1961. In the picture by Art Ridkerby, a helicopter is attempting to set a steeple over a frame on a newly constructed church. Completed the task on the 4th try. 2nd page shows the front of the Church from ground level and some of the people who came to watch. This was in Clearwater Florida. In excellent condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the picture. This original magazine tear sheet measures 10 1/4 inches wide by 13 1/4 inches tall.
