Small antique primitive Mexican pottery water jar or jug, measuring just 4 5/8 inches high, with traditional design in earthtones. This hand-shaped vessel may be an early example of Tonala clay pottery. The piece is in good condition, solid and intact, with moderate surface wear. There is a shallow chip on the side of the rim.
