Shepherd Of The Highway Ad 1966 This is a July 13, 1966 advertisement. It is a nice black and white ad titled Shepherd of the highway. Show a convertible driving away from the camera down a Connecticut turnpike. Young woman on passenger side. Can't see the driver because of the German Shepherd in the back seat and at this angle of the camera it appears that the dog is driving the car. Driver is Tom Finegan and the German Shepherd Heidi, sitting behind him, has been a licensed back seat driver for 14 months. Clever ad !! In excellent condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This magazine tear sheet measures 10 1/4"" wide by 13 3/4"" tall.
