Sheffield Company Acorn top 3 spire silver plate thing. It could be a bookmark or letter opener. Although I would think that it is too thick to use as a bookmark and silver plated blade would not be appropriate for that type of task. My next thought would be a letter holder. Though not too practical. Maybe is it some type marker to fit on the side of a serving vessel or a napkin holder. Hopefully I will get some feedback from one of you as to what it really is indented to be. What ever the purpose is it sure is lovely and quite heavy for size. It is 1.5 oz.
