Tight-grained, quartersawn oak flows over this entire piece with its beautiful beveled, oval mirror that adjusts up and down and "sissors" outward to accommodate the man using this nice shaving stand. A small curved front cabinet opens below to provide adequate storage for the user. Somewhat rare in today's market, this fine piece has been professionally restored and refinished along with the beveled mirror having been remade (good for another 100 years!).
