Set Mid-Century Modern Stacking Metal & Leather Stools

Unavailable
Included here is a set of four, stackable stools, circa 1950s-1960s, crafted from black enamelled steel and featuring their original leather cushions (one in red and three in black). They are similar in construction, shape and style to the PK33 stool designed in 1959 by Poul Kjaerholm and manufactured originally by E. Kold Christensen. (This stool is still produced today in Denmark by Fritz Hansen and has a list price of $3,200.) These stools were recently repainted and they look tremendous. Our photos here show the stools in their current condition and prior to refinishing. (Metal surfaces were a bit dusty when we took our last photo after refinishing.) Each measures 21" in diameter and 13.5" high. There are no hallmarks and the maker is unknown. These item reside in our client's gallery on the Upper West Side of Manhattan ( New York city ) and may be seen by appointment.
