If you like LARGE 6.5" Arabic clock dials, then this is the one for you. I doubt that you will see a mantle clock with an unblemished enameled dial as big or as nice as this. Walnut arch top mantle or shelf clock, 8 day time and half hour strike, in excellent working order just gone over by our professionl horologist.
Clock strikes hour on a cathedral gong and half hour on a bell. Has a great tick and loud gong - the way these clocks are supposed to be. This is one of my favorites from my long-time personal collection - not some auction or garage sale find.
This one would be an early edition of the Biltmore Model from the mid 1920's, as seen in Tran Du Luy, "Sessions Clock". Beautiful walnut grain on fancy case and fine polished brass.Finish appears to be original and unbelievably clean and beautiful, no crazing to varnish whatsoever. Metal trimmings just polished. Brass bezel polished and finished. Original enamel dial is perfect. Clock movement professionally cleaned, lubed and balanced and keeps Reliable & Accurate time.
Absolutely no disappointments. Original Key and Pendulum included. Sales to the lower 48 only. More photos and questions promptly answered. Thanks for looking and please see our other high quality clocks, clock cases and other unusual items.
All clocks are working and professionaly checked out before being listed. Each one is carefully packed to ensure safe delivery.
