Seneca Glass Driftwood Casual Purple Amethyst Ice Tea Water or Tumbler. Seneca Glass Company produced glass from 1891 to 1983, the first operated out of a former Fostoria Glass factory and later moved to a new factory along the Monogahela River. Located on the same street the Morgantown Glass Works and Beaumont Glass, these three companies often borrowed designs from each another and made or decorated glass for each other. The offical name Driftwood Casual is often shortened to Driftwood, this type of glass is often referred to as Wrinkle or Crinkle Glass. This color was made from the 1973 to 1974, it is 5 3/4" tall and holds sixteen ounces, in excellent condition, no chips and no signs of use. A fabulous addition to your collection!
