CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE CANTON TABLE LAMP

Circa 1880 Chinese Export Blue and White Ginger Jars measuring 8" in height. Some of these ginger jars have the original covers and some we have added a fitted rosewood cover. We have also mounted them on a rosewood base and have had them electrified and have also included the harp, shade and a finial and has been converted into a table lamp. Total height to top of shade averages 24" and 26" to the top of the finial. We will be adding a line of solid brass finials to our web site shortly. These ginger jars are not the true canton or nanking design and were made for the oriental taste and not that of the western world. They are know as Double Happiness. There are many out in the market place that are new but we guarantee these to be 100 years old. They fit in with all types of blue and white that is very popular and make a very useful and decorative lamp.
