PORRINGER

Unavailable
Circa 1875 Pewter Porringer with American Eagle attached. This piece came out of a house in New England. Measures 3 1/2" in diameter and is 1 1/2" in height. We feel that the eagle is a cast metal and was soldered or attached in a similar way at a later date, maybe in 1976 to represent or misrepresent as a centennial piece during our 200 year anniversary. Or it could be earlier and the eagle was added during the 100 year anniversary of our independence.
