Circa 1890-1910 Beautiful silver-plate and cobalt glass Open Salt Cellar. This piece is unmarked. Origin is either American or English. The oval salt has a silver holder that stands on four claw and ball footed legs. It has a georgeous open work pattern or scrollwork and filigree. It has a fitted cobalt liner. This very exceptional piece is 1 7/8" tall and is 3" long. Condition is extremely good with no chips or cracks to the liner. Thewre are no breaks or bends to the fine silver holder and only some very light wear to the raised edges of the open work.
