MOD ART Painting of Dahlias by Larrain "PARED" * PRICE REDUCDED * !

Unavailable
Large Striking Painting by Dr. Augusto Larrain '69 (1969) entailed "Pared". Large orange flower blossoms on leafy stems that I assume are Dahlias. The are growing up under a window with Spanish style wrought iron window bars. The painting which is on heavy canvas is framed in thin wood frame. The frame is painted gold on the front side but the out perimeter is painted blue. I think the medium is an oil. There is a texture to the paint and the texture is much more prominent with the flowers. It could be an acrylic but I cannot tell the difference.

In the frame it measures 22" x 29 1/2"

The condition is good to very good. I see one little blip of missing paint on the iron work. I do not have any information on this artist. Plus I cannot seem to tie in the title to the subject. The meaning of "Pared" is probably only known to the artist.

It is lovely and lively with a retro Latin element.
