Souvenir Prussian Red Glass Decanter

This exceptional Prussian souvenir flashed red glass decanter or caraffe features four engraved panels depicting castles and other landmarks in Coln (Koln, Cologne), Bieberich (specifically Schloss Biebrich castle in Weisbaden), Rheinstein, and Mainz. Measures 8" high (without stopper) and 5.25" across and weighs just over two lbs. Stopper is not original. There are no cracks or chips. This item comes from an impressive collection of antique Bohemian and French glass numbering over 150 items. It resides with our client on the Upper East Side of Manhattan in New York city, and may be seen by appointment.
