Mont Joye Cameo Glass Carafe Ewer

This beautiful gilded green glass pitcher or claret jug is attributed to the French maker Mont Joye (Mt Joy). It measures 12.25" high and 6" wide and deep, and weighs 3 lbs. 12 oz. There are no visible hallmarks. It is in excellent condition with no visible cracks or chips. Mount appears to be made from gilt brass and features an intricate repeating motif and beaded decoration. This item comes from an impressive collection of antique Bohemian and French glass numbering over 150 items.
