This is a very nice silver plate and enamel open salt and a matching silver salt spoon. Both of these pieces are marked "IOMMET". Origin is Soviet Russian Circa 1940-1950's. This piece features a silver holder that stands on three Short Legs. The sides are decorated with a beautiful green and ruby enamels against a silver background. It also has a a fitted clear glass liner. Also included is a silver salt spoon measuring 3" with a gold wash bowl and a very decorative handle. This great piece is 1 3/8" Tall and 2 3/8" in Diameter. The Condition is Excellent with no signs of wear. Featured in Heacocks 5000 OPEN SALTS on page 101. Item 2026.
