Russian Jewelled Champleve Bronze Mirror

This antique vanity or small wall mirror is believed to be of Russian origin and features raised floral decoration, jewels and extensive, multi-colored champleve enamel decoration. No hallmarks have been found. Believed to date from the late 19th or very early 20th century. It is reminiscient of champleve silver and bronze works by Antip Kuzmichev who supplied Tiffany in the U.S. around the turn of the century. Original velvet covering on rear. Stand chain is broken but could be easily reattached. May be hung or displayed standing. Measures 11.75" wide, 14.5" high and 1" deep and weighs an estimated 6-9 lbs. Thanks for visiting.
