Art deco Whiting and Davis pleated gold purse Original tag and mirror signed

This beautiful vintage WHITING & DAVIS deco evening bag ha beautiful folds in it that create a draped effect.  The tag reads: Mesh Whiting & davis Co. Bags, trademark P&E?,  Made in USA  Inside on the frame embedded into the metal, it is also signed.   The bag has sparkling gold discs that look like a golden disco ball when the light hits it. The elegant cut out frame shows on both sides. This has the original double sided beveled mirror ( there is  a spot on each side of the mirror). This has a twist closure and a silk inside with a side inside pocket. This has its original fancy etched chain that measures 10" long. The bag measures 7 x 5 1/2 inches at widest and tallest points. Clean and in great condition and very heavy and well made.
