Art Deco antique 1920's to 1930’s marble shell table lamp with a marble female nude perched on top. This is a beautiful piece of home decor is a small masterpiece of Deco design and exquisite sculpture. During the day, she is a magnificent sculptural display and at night the hollow alabaster shell produces the most wonderful glowing effect when lit and the statue takes on a slightly shadowy dimension by being lit from below. The picture shown were taken in near darkness. It is unsigned and most likely is of Italian origin. CONDITION:There is a truly very, very small edge chip on the back widest edge of the shell. It can easily be smoothed out if this sort of thing bothers you and since it is in the back anyway, it’s really and truly not noticeable.
SIZE: She is a large lamp, measuring 11’ high by 8 ½” long by 5” deep. The marble nude sculpture measures 5 1/2" by 5 1/2" .
