The ball seperates into two sections. The top section has its holes on the top of the dome and the cork on the bottom. The bottom section has its holes on the flat surface and the cork on the rounded bottom. Condition is very good--no cracks, or chips, but there is a 3/16" piece of the pottery material which stuck under the glaze in the manufacturing process.
