American Oak Slant Top Desk, Lady's Model

Unavailable

From a home in the hills of Tennessee, we bring this lovely, American Oak Lady's Desk. Originally used in the parlor of a Victorian home, the slant-top lady's desk could later be found in a sitting room, library, or bedroom.  Tight-grain, quarter-sawn oak flows over this entire piece with no applied carving that takes the eye away from the beauty of the grain of the oak.  The slant-top lid opens to a nice collection of "fittings", dividers, a drawer, and writing space.  A full length drawer below provides additional storage space.  Shapely cabriole legs curve toward the floor.  This piece has been professionally restored and refinished for your home.  Price includes chair shown with desk.

This piece can be shipped via Greyhound Bus Lines.  Please inquire about that type of shipping.
