Retro Taylor Baroguide barometer, with Art Deco styling, circa 1940's or earlier. The barometer has a round metal case that swivels on curved metal arms attached to a stepped oval metal base, a pale gold metal dial with black graphics, and a convex bezel made of glass, hard plastic, or acrylic. The barometer measures about 3.5 inches high, 6.5 inches wide, 2 inches deep, and weighs about .75 pounds. The dial indicates "RAIN, CHANGE, FAIR", and goes from 26 to 31. The barometer is adjustable for altitudes of 0 - 3,500 feet. "ROTATE PLATE TO ALTITUDE OF YOUR LOCALITY" is impressed on the back. The barometer appears to be in very good condition, with light to moderate surface wear and aging, as can be seen in the 4 photographs. Shipping / packaging / insurance will be $10.00.
