I have never seen another like this, as it is actually a collapsible hinged dress clip and or brooch. The head folds forward and the tail backward. This is marked silver which means it is gold over silver with an immense amount of enamel detail. The hinge and C clasp work perfectly. It measures 2" tall and is a really well made quality piece that is something I doubt you will ever see another of.
