Prussian Silver Hunting Pokal Goblet

This Prussian pokal with hunting theme dates from the eighteenth or nineteenth century, and features wonderful chased and applied decoration including cartouches with hunting dogs, coats of arms, three-dimensional female figures and a lid depicting hunters pouch and bow. It measures 16.5" (41.9 cm) tall and weighs 2 lbs. 8.8 oz (regular, not troy) and 1157 grams. Condition is excellent. It carries the number 13 assay mark indicating silver purity of .812, plus the mark "N" possibly for Nurmberg (Nuremberg) in Bavaria, letter "A" in five-sided lozenge possibly for Arolsen in Hesse region, plus a cross within circle. It dates from sometime prior to 1886. Additional images forwarded upon request.
