Primitive hand-crafted duck-shaped child's rocker, made by a carpenter for his grandchild in 1942. This charming piece is made from .5 inch plywood, with solid wood rockers, and is put together with screws, making this a very solid piece. It is painted a pale creamy yellow and white with black eyes and an orange bill. There is a decal of a dog pulling what looks like a milk wagon in front of a manor house on the wooden tray. The rocker looks about the right size for a 9 - 24 month old child. It is in good to very good condition, solid and intact. There is a moderate amount of surface wear, giving this piece a primitive look. Please refer to the 4 photographs for appearance and condition. Shipping / handling will be determined based upon the zipcode of the buyer.
