Pennsylvania Railroad Something New On Table Ad 1945 This is a October 13, 1945 advertisement. It is a nice color ad from Pennsylvania Railroad. Ad shows engine on turnstile. Reads, for the first time a way has been found to put into a locomotive the same kind of power that sends big battleships forwards, turbine drive. Developed by Pa. RR research in conjunction with engineering staffs of Westinghouse Electric Corp and Baldwin Locomotive works, this new kind of locomotive power adds extra smoothness in fast runs. In mint condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This original magazine tear sheet measures 10 1/2 inches wide by 13 1/2 inches tall.
