Patrick Heughe was born in Ghent in Belgium on January 2, 1952.

He makes Studies of Visual arts to the Academy from the Art schools in Ghent.
Then Studies of Graphic arts at the higher institute of the Graphic arts of Ghent.
It then starts Studies of Photographs at the Institute Higher of Photograph and Cinematography in Brussels.
