Featured for your enjoyment is a wonderful Victorian fruit basket from Pairpoint MFG. Co. of New Bedford Mass. Catalog as #1281, dates to around 1894 to 1896. Repousse leaf pattern on the ruffled rim and flowers and leaves in the center. The handle has a pattern of flowers and I am not certain what the center item there is. Does still need a better cleaning on the back, I am still working on that for you. Wonderful condition. I have only found two tiny spots inside the basket with plate loss. A few of the ruffles are slightly bent. These do not distract from it's beauty at all. Stands on 4 very decorative feet. Measures 2 1/4" tall with handle down and about 8" tall with it up. It is 10 1/4" across.
