Pair of sterling silver napkin rings, hallmarked for London, 1891. The makers are the prestigious company of Mappin & Webb, using the JNM maker's mark of John Newton Mappin. They come in their original box, where the silk lid lining is printed with "Mappin & Webb, silversmiths to the Queen. London & Sheffield". The queen is Queen Victoria. One napkin ring is engraved with the initial "A" and the other with "G". They each measure 25 mm deep and 43 mm diameter ( 1 inch by 1.3/4 inch). Excellent condition. They have a total weight of 40.08 grams.
