Pair Regency or French Empire Style Candelabra Lamps with Recumbent Lions

Unavailable

This pair of antique (nineteenth century) candelabra in the French empire style feature the patinated bronze figures of recumbent lions and two candle arms.  Ebonized wooden bases, sockets and wiring were added sometime in the early twentieth century.  Each measures 18" tall to the top of the sockets, 8.2" wide and 3" deep.  There are bends to the tips of the lyre on one lamp, and surface grime that is consistent with age.  Plastic candle covers are warped and cracked from age.  Wiring is partially intact.  We will be happy to add new wiring and candle covers prior to shipment for a modest fee.
