Pair of Louis XV Style Rococo Marble Top Tables

Unavailable
Pair of Louis XV style Rococo polychrome marble top tables with cabriole legs, circa mid-20th century or earlier. These ornately carved and painted tables feature red and yellow roses, and smaller yellow and blue flowers, on butterscotch and forest green, with terra cotta trim, and terra cotta and green cross-hatching. The cabriole legs, which have metal caps on the ends, are connected with ornate, serpentine cross-braces and a central finial. Each table measures about 29 inches high, 21 inches wide, and 21 inches deep. The inset polished marble tops, in ambers and butterscotches with serpentine scallops, are removable and measure about 16.75 inches by 16.75 inches. These estate tables are made from a light-toned, smooth-grained hardwood and believed to be French or Italian. The condition of the tables is very good, with some areas of worn or chipped, missing paint. Please refer to the 4 photographs for appearance and condition. We will be happy to arrange professional packaging and shipping.
