Included here is a matching pair of French Louis XVI style commodes dating from the early twentieth century, featuring variegated light rouge marble tops, two long drawers, extensive neoclassical bronze mounts, and floral marquetry and parquetry inlay including geometric diaper and floral basket motifs. Each measures 53" wide, 33.75" high and 22" deep. Their condition is excellent. There are some minor scratches and nicks here and there, but not major damages nor major restorations. No keys exist.
