Pair Roman Neoclassical Paris Porcelain Vases

Included here is a matching pair of Paris porcelain vases, featuring gilded, hand-painted and transfer decorations including the Roman Goddess Diana on chariot. Measurements: 14 x 8.25 x 6 inches; 35.6 x 21 x 15.2 cm. There are no visible damages (no cracks nor chips), but a bit of house paint at the lip and the neck of one vase which we will have carefully removed prior to shipment. One vase has a firing stress crack. Each carries a shallow impressed mark in the shape of an "S" and roman numerals. There is obvous wear to the gilding and some slight wear to the enamel, consistent with age. Additional images forwarded upon request ( Greco-Roman Grand Tour Greek Revival )
