Pair of Bacchus Themed Decoupage Glass Table Lamps

Included here is a pair of matching glass table lamps with neoclassical decoupage designs, mounted on gilded wooden bases. They feature rose and other floral designs, floral swags and garlands, and the masks of Greek satyrs (followers of Dionysus, the god of wine) or fauns (followers of the Bacchus, the Roman equivalent to Dionysus). One lamps is signed "R. Rose". Each measures 19" tall and they are an estimated ten to thirty years old. Each is wired and ready for use. Condition is very good. There are no visible damages or repairs, but the wooden base of one lamp is warped. Each measures 19" tall. These items reside on the Upper East Side of Manhattan in New York city and may be seen by appointment. ( hantiques )
