Pair Antique Art Nouveau Bronze Vases by Leon Kann (1859-1925)

Unavailable

Included here is a pair of bronze vases by Leon Kann (1859-1925), circa 1900, decorated with umbel flower clusters and measuring 16 in (41 cm) tall.  Signed "L Kann" with stamped mark SIOT PARIS with number Y651.  Each is in good condition with expected wear to the patina, with light scratches and dents and surface dirt in the crevices, all consistent with age and typical handling.  Kann was an accomplished sculptor and designer known for his designs for porcelain and bronze.  He was a student of Aime Millet and the animalier sculptor Pierre Louis Rouillard. From 1896 to 1915 he was a designer for Sevres.  Our price is firm.
