Beautiful pair of handpainted Japanese porcelain small vases, mounted with sterling silver rims, hallmarked for London, 1923. Silversmiths mark is C.M. in an oval (possibly Charles Maas). The vases have tublelined gilding for the stalks and branches. They measure 11 cm high and 6.2 cm diameter (4.3/8 inches by just under 2.1/2 inches). Excellent condition.
