Staebel Antiques offers a pair of beautiful, matching, portrait decorative vases with a Bavarian makers mark. These vases are exquisitely painted with a young courting couple on the front and a landscape scene in the back side. Each vase shows a different courting couple but the landscape scene on the back side are identical. All the painting and gold decoration is very well done. The top cap is adorned with a solid brass acorn, the top vase lip is solid brass with decoration and the base is solid brass with short legs. There are no scratches or cracks on either piece. A makers mark is on the bottom....I think it is a Bavarian mark, but I am not a porcelain collector so please inquire if you need help with identifying the mark. A very attractive pair of porcelain vases.
