Pair Antique Frolicking Putti KPM Porcelain Vases

Unavailable
Included here is a pair of antique KPM porcelain vases from the early/mid nineteenth century, featuring majolica style masked handles and hand-painted scenes depicting frolicking cherubs. Each measures 24" tall, 13" wide and 9" deep, and each is in excellent condition. There are no visible cracks nor signs of restoration, but the mounting hardware has been replaced. The only visible flaw is a tiny chip from the upper edge of the pedestal as seen in our image here. Each is signed with the blue sceptor mark under glaze and the red shield mark with cross above, often referred to as the Reichsapfel Marke, which was employed from 1832 to 1837. These items reside with our client on the Upper East Side of Manhattan in New York and may be seen by appointment. ( hantiques )
