Painted miniature portrait jeweled Reliquary Shrine necklace Sterling medals and pearl fobs and more

Fabulous ornate enamel chain, a sterling religious medal and the most beautiful miniature portrait make up this most outstanding necklace. THe chain in itself is reflective of the fancy watch chains in the Victorian times. Not one piece has been left unadorned. From the glass case miniature hangs a double pearl and filigree bead fob and one double sided antique sterling catholic medal. Notice the size of the miniature next to a dime and you will see how TINY these hand beaded miniatures are ( I have several more on etsy). The Miniature portrait has been hand overpainted with bronzes and golds and a tiny red glass immaculate heart.It takes the tiniest of crush strokes to recreate the feel of an original oil. Tiny flakes of copper bring out the halo around Mary's head. IT is hard to see in the photos but once the light hits it you see glistens of color that make her angelic and Holy. The glass watch case is 1 1/4" x 1 1/4" ( which gives you an idea of how small the beads are inside) and the total pendant is 4 1/2" long. The actual wide chain that goes around your neck is 18" long. Whether it be gothic or renaissance or just plain glorious, this necklace is the one of a kind that is a must have.
